For the first time in 32 years, there was no March of the Living on Holocaust Remembrance Day, due to the Coronavirus. The International March of The Living and The Miller Center for Community Protection and Resilience at Rutgers University, in association with the USC Shoah Foundation, created the 2020 Virtual March of the Living Ceremony which aired on Holocaust Remembrance Day, April 21, 2020. The program included President of Israel Reuven Rivlin; Testimonies from Holocaust survivors Edward Mosberg and Irving Roth; address from Jewish leaders, Holocaust educators, March of the Living alumni and more.
