An
International Educational Program for College
Students
The
College March of the Living is an opportunity
to travel with other Jewish college students
to Poland and Israel. This once-in-a-lifetime
experience will allow you to meet college students
with whom you will share moments of sadness
and joy that will create long lasting bonds.

Tentative
Trip Dates (Subject to Change):
In Poland
You
will visit the concentration camps of Auschwitz,
Birkenau, Treblinka and Majdanek. You will also
visit historic Jewish sites in Warsaw (the Ghetto
Memorial, Mila 18, the Jewish Cemetery, the
restored Nozyck Synagogue).
In Cracow (the Jewish Quarter, Ghetto, Pharmacy,
Schindler factory, Plashow labor camp, the Ramah
and Issac Shuls, Old city, ) and in Lublin (the
famous Yeshiva, now a Polish medical school)
and the old Cemetery.
Israel
You will visit a number of exciting locations
and ancient sites, such as Jerusalem: The Jewish
quarter, the Western Wall, the Kenesset, the
Supreme Court, Ben Yeyuda Street, Machane Yeyuda
Market, and more. Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Beer Sheva,
Hazerim Air Force Museum, Masada, Ramon Crater,
the Negev, Ein Gedi Reserve, the Dead Sea and
more. You will embark on an exciting jeep ride,
nature hikes and other outdoor adventures.
Eligibility & Preparation
College students in 2006 are eligible to participate.
Qualified participants will be carefully screened.
They will be provided with a study curriculum
and will be expected to attend, prior to departure,
a seminar which was specifically designed to
prepare participants for the program.
An application must be completed including a
medical form. In addition, applicants will be
required to submit an essay, participate in
a personal interview and supply letters of recommendation.
If you are accepted, you will be provided with
a study curriculum and will be expected to attend
a one day seminar in the New York area prior
to departure, that has been specifically created
to prepare you for the program.

Cost And
Scholarships
The cost of the program is $3,100 from NY. This
program is partially subsidized. The International
March of the Living organization will provide
a limited number of scholarships in the amount
of $500 each.
